Could it be that my purpose in life can be found in pleasure?

Prayer? I could see my authority images come up immediately. The authority – here God, or Jesus Christ – is, in my image, the one to be obeyed above all else.

Pat boldly launched into the subject of our connection with her question, “So how was our time last night?” She was referring to our romantic interlude the evening before.

Over coffee our conversation begins with looking at my melancholy. I quickly identify that some longings exist in me related to aspects of our relationship.

At Friday morning coffee time I announce to Pat that I am feeling grounded and expanded, let us say feeling skillful in the various roles I have been playing of late

I find myself in leadership roles frequently, and yet I wonder if leadership is part of my Essence manifesting or if my leadership is coming from some forcing place.

I notice my moods ride up and down with various people and various situations. Sometimes my interaction is smooth and effortless, joyful even. At other times my interactions are choppy, guarded, and defended.

I’ll remember Aunt Edna as one who planted seeds of attitude on this planet.

But actually I was not all that clear about all this leadership and my role in it. That was yet to unfold.

I struggle in my relationship with some people. I mean really struggle, so I know there is more going on than meets the eye.
